St. John Catholic Schools Week Theme: Mission Possible (Because NOTHING Is Impossible With God!

Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week has been the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2024 is January 28 – February 3.

Catholic Schools Week Timeline of Events 

Sunday 1/28 Celebrate Our Parish

-Book Fair 10-2

-Therapy Dogs visit 10-11:30 – My Caring Paws

-Open House 10-11

-Students wear uniform to church

Monday 1/29 Celebrate Our Families & Volunteers

-Family & Volunteer Breakfast 8:30-10 (Peggy)

-Service Projects

-Book Fair 8-4:30

Tuesday 1/30 Celebrate Our Students

-Donuts for Students (Peggy)

-Dress Down Day

-Book Fair 8-4:30

Wednesday 1/31 Celebrate Our Nation

-Students may accessorize with Red, White, and Blue

-Wax Museum – 1:30 in the Portico

-Parents Visit School – 12:30-1:30

-Book Fair 8-4:30

Thursday 2/1 Celebrating Vocations

-Priest On The Roof: Mission Possible (Because Nothing Is Impossible)

-Emergency vehicles coming around 10/10:30 – ? for the students to tour

-Book Fair 8-4:30

Friday 2/2 Celebrating Faculty & Staff

-HSA is organizing a teacher appreciation lunch.

-Guest Speaker -Beth Pulio-Grades 4-8

Sunday 2/4

-The parish envelope campaign for our school.  Students to represent the school at the mass.  

-Students dress in uniform at church.
